Fun Places to Ride

There will be presentations from several speakers to tell you about several great places to ride near your town, in Oklahoma, and nearby locations.
Here are a few examples of fun rides that you will learn about:

Oklahoma Freewheel:

ride 450 miles from Texas to Kansas across Oklahoma. Participants camp out at towns along the way. 

Tulsa Trails

Learn about great places to ride in Tulsa, including the Arkansas River Trails and the aptly named "Cry Baby Hill".

Stillwater Cycling:

Known for some great off-road cycling and "Gravel" rides.

OKC Trails

Over 65 miles of Multi-use trails, and 150 miles of shared road routes. 

Razorback Greenway - Arkansas:

35 miles of off-road trail connecting Fayetteville and Bentonville. Lovely sights, with a world class art museum at the end.

Campout Rides, T-Shirt Rides

There are several organizations that sponsor single day and multi-day rides throughout the state.

  and staff liaison for the Edmond Bicycle Committee.

   Mike Schooling  Tulsa Tulsa Bicycle Club President, 2018I've been actively involved in cycling for
  the past 14 years.
I served on the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Freewheel
  for several years in the mid-late 2000's.
I have held several roles within the Tulsa Bicycle Club 
  and have been the webmaster for many years.
I was actively involved in reinvigorating the Indian Nations Council of Governments
  Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee and served briefly as secretary for the group.
I'm active with Tulsa Bicycle Club's adopted BIKE CLUB school where we train
  5th graders and award new bikes at the end of their training.
I am a life member of the League of American Bicyclists and an LCI
  and am a life member of the Adventure Cycling Association
  and have been a member of the Bike Oklahoma for many years.
   Keith Reed  Stillwater Bicycle Rider. Head dreamer at Keith's Bike Fort .
My passion is sharing the magic of a good bicycle ride with as many people as I possibly can.
This has taken many forms but my current focus centers around my bike fort
and Stillwater's Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
   James Wetzel  OKC Vice President, OBS. 
Just a guy who loves to ride and share the joy of cycling with others.
I get lost a lot so I am affectionately known as GPS Jimmy.

I've been cycling as an adult for about 40 years.
I have been a member of OBS for many, many years and have served on the
  Board of Directors for more that 15 years in one capacity or another.
I have organized a number of in-state and out-of-state group rides ranging in
  length from one day to a week.
This year I became a Licensed Cycling Instructor and am looking
  forward to teaching others how to ride safely on streets, roads and trails.

   Lauren Wagner  Razor Back Greenway  Manager of the TU Rider Network (TURN).
Lauren is a recreational cyclist and bike commuter.
She serves on the Board of Directors of Bike Oklahoma and is the University
  Representative on the Tulsa area Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
She is a certified instructor with the League of American Bicyclists.
