Bike Summit - things to know before you arrive



Friday, October 25


, Oklahoma Department of Transportation(ODOT) 200 NE 21st, OKC  Commissioner’s Room
  • A picture ID is required to enter the ODOT building, please bring it with you.
  • Part of afternoon sessions includes a bike or walking tour near ODOT.All attendees are expected to participate.We will provide a bike and helmet for free use.If you did not indicate your need for one in initial registration, please let us know ASAP.
  • Bring warm and comfortable clothes for riding.Looks like temps in the low 60’s.
  • Construction is on-going at the main entrance on 21st. street.Consider entering visitor parking following map below.

     

    Driving east on NW 23rd Street

    ·         Make a right turn onto N. Walnut Ave, just past the large Armory building

    ·         Follow N. Walnut Ave around to N. Central Ave and turn right

    ·         Turn right onto NE 21st St and a quick left into the circle drive in front of ODOT Headquarters to the Visitor’s Parking Lot

     

    Driving north or south on N. Lincoln Blvd

    ·         The NW 21st Street exit is currently closed

    ·         Turn west onto NE 18th St

    ·         Turn right to go north on N Walnut Ave

    ·         Turn right onto NE 21st St

    ·         Turn right into the circle drive in front of ODOT Headquarters to the Visitor’s Parking Lot

     

     

  • Bike racks provided at front of building.Bring your lock.
  • You can receive up to 6 CEU’s as a professional engineer or planner through Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, or AICP, respectively.You’ll be asked to indicate if you wish a certificate on Friday’s sign in sheet.

Devon Boathouse 608 Riversport Drive, OKC
  • The Boathouse is minutes away from the Embassy Suites in case you want to ride a bike over.There are two trails that run near it along Oklahoma River.OKC Trails: https://www.okc.gov/departments/parks-recreation/trails
  • Bike racks provided near front of building.Bring your lock.
  • Signs are posted outside Boathouse directing you to the entrance.
